Are Adwords quality scores important for conversions? What is a Google quality score?
Hello SEO St. Louis Guru:
We run a consumer electronics business. Each week, we feature a new deal of the week. Our office administrator makes these changes. When we first had our site developed, we hired a St. Louis Web designer.
For the last year, we’ve been running ads on Google. The problem is that our sales are low. While we capture lots of ad traffic, our site is converting less than 2 percent of our visitors.
We noticed that our Google quality score is less than marginal. Does the adword quality score influence our site’s sales conversions? Can you diagnose the problem?

The concept behind Google’s quality score is to inspire advertisers to create pay-per-click ads relevant to the landing page. In other words, in an effort to assure that Google end-users reach sites specific to their search specifications, Google evaluates web pages, landing pages and pay-per click ads according to the following criteria:
• Click through rate (CTR)
• The time it takes the landing page to load
• Keyword relevancy between the pay-per-click ad and the copy
• Landing page quality
Next time, we’ll evaluate the aforementioned Adword quality score factors.
